As our reputation suggests, Allcorp are very proactive at exploring the newest advertising and marketing trends. We were basically the first website designer to open up in North Queensland, we were the first to outline the importance of mobile website development, SEO and Google Ads when we first became official Google Partners in 2015. While our competitors were trying to catch up to what we were doing, we were already moving onto the next thing.
The same is true with our YouTube advertising services which fall under our Google Partner arrangement. (Google own YouTube, remember.) More than 2 years ago we brought the YouTube product to our clients as a different way of thinking about traditional television advertising. When you look at the statistics, YouTube is the most watched medium on household televisions in North Queensland. Channel 7 could only dream of having the market footprint that YouTube has.
With Easylift, we've been working with the owners quite a lot over the last month to sort out the mess that was left by their previous agency. Their website wasn't ranking, their Google Ads weren't working as efficiently as they could and no one was giving them any expert advice as to where they should be traveling with their advertising.
The final project of the entire process was to get their newly completed promotional video positioned onto the YouTube network. We choose parameters to control the audience of this campaign, so only people that can be serviced by the business. In this case, Cairns, Townsville and Rockhampton are the towns our ads will display and we set some other rules for our audience such as gender, age and income. This ensures that we don't have our advertisement for Easylift popping up on the screen of a redundant customer.
Another way we help our client cut down on marketing waste is with what we call an exclusion list. An exclusion list is a database we can establish against the YouTube marketing account which comprises of a list of YouTube channels we don't want the ads to display on. At Allcorp, we've developed our own list of over 8,000 children themed YouTube channels. We add this entire list to the exclusion list so that when mum leaves little Angelo to watch his favourite nursery rhymes, our ads won't display. This is just another way that Allcorp work for the benefit of our client in every aspect.
