As with many business owners these days, the greatest hurdle to navigate is the lack of staff. This year our work as marketing and advertising professionals has leaned more towards recruitment campaigns to help our clients find employees.
With Cairns & Townsville Cleaning Contractors, they came to us for some assistance to engage with more potential employees and we advised that by producing a video advertisement we can then position the business as skippable in-stream ads on YouTube.
We're running the YouTube campaign in both Cairns & Townsville with a target of demographics of lower 70% income earners, male or female YouTube watchers and ages ranging from 25 - 60. With our presets and budget in place, Google data suggests that we'll be reaching more than 25,000 people that meet our criteria each month.
With YouTube advertising, the numbers may seem low, but when you factor in the highly qualified nature of the people we are targeting, a similar advertisement run on traditional old-fashioned television advertising would need to reach closer to 200,000 people in order to have the same effect and impact. The YouTube targeting process we have access to with our Google Partnership status really does give us insights into whom the right people to place our client advertisements in front of are.
The video we produced for Cairns & Townsville Cleaning Contractors earlier this month was all created around this recruitment theme and we developed a custom lead generation form in their Cairns and Townsville website design to generate a recruitment lead funnel.
